I really enjoyed seeing the museum house with the little bed in the cupboard for the baby.

I actually sleep in a Bedsteded of a sort. It is in the bow of a boat and the walls and cupboards inside of it are made from teak as is the raised panel door opening into the space. A little skylight hatch over the top brings in fresh air and the sky. Sometimes I am even rocked to sleep by my mother nature.Karin Corbinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14558132883050492387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445525077694788224.post-56824800706728121812009-11-29T04:29:14.793-08:002009-11-29T04:29:14.793-08:00I already love your house. They were mostly used in farmhouses and they are called Bedstee or Bedstede. You can find a picture here: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedstee

Good luck with your house, I'll be following.

groetjes evelienEvelienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06230351984402170423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445525077694788224.post-21168817974584437252009-11-28T15:06:39.495-08:002009-11-28T15:06:39.495-08:00The window surrounds will be 99% covered over with...The window surrounds will be 99% covered over with timber framing details. They are around the windows so I don't get glue in the wrong place when securing the windows and doors into the wall. Also they help with the illusion that the timbers go all the way through the wall.Karin Corbinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14558132883050492387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445525077694788224.post-62755298925192407702009-11-28T12:34:19.384-08:002009-11-28T12:34:19.384-08:00Love it, Karin!
